There is a suggestion in the COD4 section of the forum concerning weapon strength.

I noticed a huge difference in COD4 vs. W@W on how easy/hard it is to get a kill.

Much harder in COD4 to get the kill, I feel just a tad too hard. At times a bullet to the head just doesn’t do it.

In W@W on can shoot an enemy in the foot and get the kill. I have also realized there is actually no recoil on the weapons. I have watched and seen the heavy machine guns fire off an entire clip and the sights never move. In COD4 autos span up when you hold the button. At one time, after a mod update the recoil was there in W@W then changed again … at first I thought it frustrating but now I see it is more realistic.

So what do you think?

Is it time to make W@W a little tougher?

I think you'll find over time that there really isn't much of a difference at all. I think it's just due to the fact that you're new to the COD4 game. I remember when I switched from COD4 to WaW my success rate dropped significantly. For me it was getting used to the feel of the new weapons. Eventually, with familiarity to the game, things came back up to par.

I've played both games for quite awhile and I don't see any major differences now. If I had to pick a difference I'd say I find COD4 slightly easier than WaW.

If I remember Cod4 has different kill/hit areas than W@W so that may throw your game off some.

Cod 4 has more of a spray in the weapon if you have notice that is why it much harder to get you kill...And it all depend which weapon you select....We realy dont what to make easyer to kill god you can kill thru walls.....Which sometime turn me off with the COD 4...

As I posted in another thread .. I like COD4's settings better than W@W. And I recognize that some of it is me with the autos because there is real recoil in the weapons.

My only beef was I shot a guy square in the back of the head at 20 yards and didn't get the kill. As I sure with everything else there is a trade off to get one thing over another.

I just think, after playing COD4 there should be some recoil added back into W@W. It appears that W@W is kind of like playing the game on the “easy” setting rather than the harder version.

On another note .. I just want to kick my kids butt when I pay $60 for a game and they breeze though it on the easy game setting and have it done in two days!
