Hi guys! I'm running a COD4 server at work just on the LAN and running the same mod you guys are. How did you set it up so that the G3 rifle is full auto when no attachment is selected? That's a pretty handy feature that I'd like to enable on my server.

sorry I didn't see this thread before snakelips, did you get this working? Just in case you didn't, the way to do it is to modify the g3_mp file in the client iwd file. An iwd file can be opened with winrar or 7zip, 7zip is free for download. Open the weapon folder, then copy the g3_mp file to your desktop. Open it using notepad, and search for the fire type, type in full auto. Paste the edited file back to the iwd file and you should be good.

Yes, Sir, I got it running. I think we exchanged messages, rather than forum posts. The funny thing was that I discovered that I had to slow down the action cycle speed once I made it full auto. It was set so fast I emptied a magazine in a fraction of a second! Good times...good time...
